Friedman and Ellefson play on recently discovered Buddy Holly track



Marty Friedman and David Ellefson recorded guitar and bass on a recently discovered Buddy Holly track, at The Saltmine studios in Phoenix, August 11. The song was discoverd by Buddy Holly's widow among the tapes that he had recorded in his apartment before his death, that were never released. The song was sung by country artist Steve Richards who wanted the tune 'rocked up' because 'that's the way Buddy would have wanted it'. Rock it up they did.....
