Marty is now a regular guest on yet another hit show in Japan! Nippon Television`s “Uta Sta-“ is Japan`s answer to American Idol. American Idol is virtually unknown in Japan, but “Uta Sta-“ with its similar format of celebrity judges critiquing amateur singers has been a nationwide hit for quite some time.

It can be seen all throughout Japan on Monday nights, in most markets at 12:30 AM (just before ROCK FUJIYAMA).

Marty`s guest for his monthly “Saizo” magazine piece was heavy metal movie “Metal-A Headbanger`s Journey” director Sam Dunn. Topics ranged from the state of Dio`s kitchen to Marty`s current obsession with the band Decapitated. We will try to get a transcript of this in English for the site.

Marty also appeared for a pre-show interview at the Tokyo premiere of the film to a packed Shibuya Ax.

Marty`s "Saizo" interview with the Japanese Budget Examiner for Trade, Industry, Foreign Affairs and Overseas Assistance (!) Masato Miyazaki is on newsstands now!
