Tuesday Nights will feature Marty on two programs
Those with access to Japanese TV will get a double shot of Marty on Tuesday nights!! In the time slot just before TV Tokyo`s ?gHebimetasan?h, Marty will appear on Saito Nobu`s ?gGOD JOINT?h for 2 episodes in July. This is a must see for fans of Marty`s playing as the premise of the weekly show is an unrehearsed ad lib `jam session` between Saito Nobu and Japan`s most respected musicians in an extremely unlikely location for a jam session...We can`t tell you where they shot the episodes, but prepare for some big surprises! Air times are 7/05 at 12:30AM (Tuesday night) and 7/19 at the same time on the BSQ network.

Marty did an `unplugged` show with Aikawa Nanase on her monthly ?gMusic Garden?h radio program. They did 3 songs and a long interview together, which was topped off with a guest appearance by Pata (X Japan) who will be joining Nanase and Marty on their summer tour of Japan. The musical chemistry between Nanase and Marty is undeniable, and Marty is known to be a big X Japan fan so the three of them got into details about this unique (and unlikely?!) group.
Marty`s daily articles in Tokyo Sport begin the first week of July. The title of the column will be "Marty`s Nihon tte ii jan!" ("Marty`s Japan is Alright!")
Marty is back in Tokyo after 10 cities in Asia where he met and played for thousands of fans, even having the opportunity to jam with the best local players in many of the cities. The entire trek was captured on video, which should surface in DVD form by 2006.
In Tokyo, the recording of Marty`s 6th solo album resumes this week as well as the taping of future episodes of `Hebimetasan` which can be seen every Tuesday night on channel 12 at 1AM Tokyo time.
!! UPDATE !! Last Tuesday`s broadcast of `Hebimetasan` was the highest rated yet, ranking the show #7 of the top 100 shows on Tokyo Television!
Marty will be doing a special interview for the site very soon, keep an eye out for it! He told me that he has tons to report about the Asian shows as well as a sneak peek in the studio where he is slowly but surely putting together an epic of an album...
