  Title : About Speaking Japanese

  QUESTION:

Hi Marty ! It is a pleasure to ask a question direct to you ! First, i'm from Brazil, i'm 19 years old, and like the other guy who posted a question about how he is crazy to make a home in Japan, so i am. But the difference is that i know absolutely nothing about speaking or reading japanese, and here's my question: how did you learn japanese? It was by some class, or just traveling to Japan in your Cacophony times? and you begin learning by the time you was in Cacophony, or it was even before? Because i really love Japanese culture, their essence, a composition naturally reflects what's inside the composer, so it is with japan music, reflects the essence of the japanese people. I'm really not so proud to be a brazilian guy, here don't have what it's inside me. I plan on learning japanese and to someday make home in Japan too, 'cause we just live once, like you said ! Thanx for everything you are sharing to us through all these years, your music, your perspective of things, of life, and everything . Sorry if i spelled any word wrong. I learned english 10% School - 90% Games ! ;D Hugs !

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

My advice is go there as a tourist first. That will inspire you to what you should do next. You would not want to live in a country where you can`t speak or read, but as a tourist it can still be fascinating. Your English is great, so maybe you should learn Japanese the same way...good luck
