Title : low guitar and your magazine colums

  QUESTION:

You wear your guitar way low and i was wondering your viewpoints on the height of the guitar on you,if it was a comfort thing or stage presence or what because i have been experimenting with different strap lengths and wanted your input.

Also I know you did columns for guitar magazines for years and years and was wondering if you would post them on you web site.
I happened to buy the june 1999 guitar world far before i new who you were and luckily i think you had the best guitar playing advise in the column you did. It was about rhythm and the importance of solid foundations of rhythm work before getting into solos, as well as your advice about putting the guitar down and listening and creating your own music in your head without the restrictions of what you will gravitate to with the instrument in hand. Therefore making your imagination your only boundary. I can think of few better teachers. I cannot think of a way to thank you enough for all the great music and inspiration and lessons. I guess a simple "thanks" will have to do.

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

A guitar worn high just does not look cool, period.
I wrote many articles that were published in Japanese, I have English versions of all of them, and I do plan to put them on the site. Get ready!
thanx for the kind words.
