Hi Marty, I'm From argentina. I got to tell you that you're a great musician, and a great composer i think. Honestly i don't like all your albums, but you're my favourite guitar player and my biggest influence as a musician, but that's not the question... I have been playing for 9 years. I like to play many styles, but i got a thrash/heavy band. So, Here's the problem: I usually feel that i can't play as well as i used to do, i feel that i'm going backwards. I love to compose but i start doing something and i can't finish it, and then i throw away the idea... Besides i use to play covers to improve my abilities and to find new styles but i find it so difficult now, it's weird, but it seems that i can't get better. So, what do you think about that? did you ever feel that way? i really love to know what do you think. I also got another Q...There are so much people who ask you about life, but they (we) only know you as a musician. Did you ever think about that? I think you're wise man... {I love to compose but i start doing something and i can't finish it, and then i throw away the idea... } Welcome to music...for every idea that I like and I actually use for something, I throw away 10 others that never get finished. If it sucks, get rid of it NOW and move on! There is NO sense in polishing what was never good in the first place. Use your imagination and create more ideas until something stands out to you.
