I'm in love with your music! I have followed your career through Cacophony Megadeth and your solo albums, and was listening to Music for speeding. I couldn't help but notice the shamisen in it, especially in Nastymachine I think... How long have you been playing Shamisen, and how did you get into it? I play Ukulele, guitar and bass and don't plan to take up anything else just yet, but I loved the sound on it! Thanks a lot!
Sorry to go on, but another two questions...
1: Will your signature Ibanez ever be released in the uk?
2: I couldn't help but notice two mistakes on the questions page- it says nama rather than name and it says "Your question will be answer" rather than your question will be answered...thanks! |

I just picked up the shamisen prior to recording that track. I remember sitting cramped on top of my 4x12 cabinet in the isolation booth playing it because it was not electric. If you play guitar and have a half decent ear, you can fake it on shamisen like me. To play it properly is a completely different thing and like any other instrument, takes loads of dedication and sweat to play properly. |
