Hey Marty. You are an awsome guitarist but my question is more to do with your japanese speaking ability. Ive been struggling for the past 3 years to learn japanese and I thought I was doing pretty well untill I did exchange in Japan for two weeks and had no idea what was going on. How long did it take you to learn japanese fluently and did you start learning when you moved to Japan or in America?

Exactly like in music, the most common question is "how long does it take to ...." there is no answer. There is no "ok, I`m really good now, I`m done." Language, like music is an endless pursuit to express yourself better, and a constant learning process. The bad thing about it is you`re never really done.
