  QUESTION:

Marty, regarding the crisis that music industry is facing nowadays, which means much, much more restrictions for artists do get a contract, would you say that it's more difficult to get going in music business today than it was in the past (eighties and seventies)? If so, what would you do today that was different than what you did in those early days of your career? Thank you very much!

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

There is no crisis-nothing is harder than any other time...If someone has something worth buying someone will find a way to sell it. People should stop blaming new technologies for this and that and instead use them to find new ways to get people to discover their music.
