hi marty, i'm your biggest fan ever, and lately I've been watching for the first time some japanesse tv videos of your tv show and some of your presentations with Jpop stars, and I have to ask you something: do you really feel happy playing with these japanesse people? do you feel happy playing covers in some kind of comic tv shows? are you doing this for money or you really think your music is growing with this influence?. I would never imagine Brian May hosting a tv show, and let me tell you that you are much better than him. I'm sure you totally disagree with me, but I had to tell you my thoughts, anyway.

Good Q! First off thanks for the compliment, although I believe I`ve got a long way to go to even approach Brian May`s greatness. I love the TV shows I do, they are extremely hard work but are a blast! Rock Fujiyama is a variety show so if I am seen on there playing parts of other songs, it is always part of a skit or a game or something. We have a lot of fun messing with tunes. My own music is growing imensely from the experience. Developing interesting and fun segments with top class producers and interacting with the cast and new and interesting guests every week keeps everything constantly fresh! The main thing is at the end of the day, I`m a musician and thanks to TV my own music gets introduced to all the mainstream viewers who would never hear of it otherwise.
