Yo marty. First of all, thanks a lot for all the wonderful music you're lettin ourselves enjoy, it's really good. My fav album of yours is Introduction, very esoteric to me... and of course (well you must be hearin dis one hundred times a day) the job ya did on Rust in peace and cacophony (the ninja... yeaaahh... ^^)... and you have such modesty and coolness, that's simply cool. ;o)

Anyway, since i'm a bassist a and also huge fan of funk, jazz, soul, hip-hop and i've stumbled across a kickass Japanese Funk-fusion Band called Casiopea...

Issei Noro is their main composer and guitarist... and man,he's just WOW ! At a time funky, bluesy as hell and quite a shredder too... but it's really a shame he's quite unknown in the western part of the world nowadays :D

Since you're in Japan, i simply wondered if you've ever heard him or jammed wit him or what, because just like you, he's really fusionning thangs together to ceate awesome music.

Did you ever thought of makin' blues-soul-funk music or ideas in you compositions ? You're so cool attitude wise, i'm sure it would be killer !

I had the honor of jamming with him at an event last year. Although that style of music doesn`t appeal to me much, I could certainly appreciate being in the presence of such a great guitarist. I forgot what we played, though! I think there is a pic of him in the gallery of this site.
