marty, i have really bad stage fright when i play in front of crowds- and it often ends up in me forgetting what to play next or messing up whatever i am playin. while by myself or with a few buddies i dont have this problem. got any tips for lessening the stage fright problem?

Easy one. Having stage fright means only one thing. As much as you THINK you are prepared, you are not really prepared enough. Know your music INSIDE and OUT. Over-rehearse if neccesary.
