  Title : Cleanliness. . .

  QUESTION:

Sorry to waste your time if this is a stupid question, but i own your melodic control video (And used alot of what i learned in my playing, Thanks!), and when i watch you pick, it is a mystery to me how you keep the lower strings clean. When you are picking on the high E string, many times the bottom three strings appear to have nothing keeping them from vibrating, yet you sound very clean. I see your hand mute them out when your using your vibrato, but never when your just picking. Now relating this question to 'GEAR', is this because of the amps you use, pickups, or what? Thanks for your time. I will be listening and you will remain a strong influence to my playing. Maybe I'll see you out there later in my life.
