My son, who plays guitar, is a junior in high school and is interested in attending M.I. Would you recommend he go there following graduation, or should he take some courses at the community college level first? Finances are a factor. Thanks.

MI will give him better and more specific music education than the CC, and I`m all for learning as much as possble. If finances are an issue, I suggest getting in a top 40 or covers band and `earn while you learn`.
