Hey Marty, I don’t want to waste your time sucking up but truly you’re the BEST man!!!(I cant express what a great influence you are! from Megadeth to a solo artist) So here is my problem/questions… I’ve got an Ibanez RG550 and a Jackson RR1 both great. BUT!!! Have a Floyd Rose… Sick of them (the Floyd) such a hassle… I play more on Funk/rock now w/ loads of effects and I have no clue what guitar will do the job? I can’t seem to choose whether I should go with a Les Paul or an American strat? Its really mind bugling since they are so different. I was able to use one of your SZ’s here in the Philippines. Great stuff!!! It’s got a much thicker neck then an RG but I had no problems with that. Better tone and sustain too. Shaping your sound w/ the 2 volume knobs with the toggle switch in the middle position is real nice. Kind of like a les Paul. I am going to buy one of these with my money and sell my RG and add to buy ether a les Paul or strat. Who better to ask then you. So which would you go for the strat or the les paul?
