  QUESTION:

Hello Marty,

I'd like to say, first of all, that I do appreciate your music, and thank you for the years of emotions and good vibes it has generated in me since Cacophony first release. I hope you will walk on this path Marty and bring us more individual, creative and inspiring music - I love best your Dragon's Kiss, Scenes + Jason's Perpetual Burn + all Cacophony + Megadeth RIP, SOD.

My question is pretty simple. I'm in my early thirties, I think I understand how some, not all, things work in music "musically"- you know what I mean. When I was a teenager I used to play the guitar a bit for one or two years, but not much really.

Now I feel like playing it again, having fun with friends in a band-like situation. I know I won't play very well, I know my limitations, but i wanna do it - spend hours on practising again, recording tracks, etc. Do you think it makes sense? Please give me an answer you think reasonable, not the one I wanna hear

Thank you for reading this
Best regards
Mike

p.s. I'm glad you played with G3 - you're really one of the best guitarists now
