I just wanted to say how you are my greatest influence as a guitarist. I live in Oahu, Hawaii and hope you loved it here just as much as I do. Anyways I was just curious how you get your lead/solo tone so round and smooth. I recently bought a Metal Zone and an equalizer which is what i found in your earlier rigs, but i still can't replicate your sound. I was thinking a compressor or something like a SD-1, but i am not sure. Thanks for your time......

p.s. you should come back to hawaii and play a 300 watt power solo in the diamond head crater sometime. =D

Although I use BOSS effects because they are the best, `tone` comes from the heart, mind and fingers. The only way to get `tone` is to play as much as you can and truly listen to what you are playing.
