Great question. I try to read the questions as often as possible and there are (thankfully) so many that there is just not enough time to answer them all, so I tend to get to the ones that stand out.
As an artist, I have to be against it because theoretically, if people keep copying, there will not be enough money for the artists that you like to continue making music. So in a sense, you are killing off your favorite artists by taking something from them without giving anything back. I have to agree with Metallica on this one. |
