I read once that you had tried out for Ozzy, but he opted for Zakk Wylde, and Zakk referred you to Megadeth. Is that accurate?

I think you were Ozzy's only shot at truly discovering another Randy Rhoads. You two come from a rare breed.

Not true. I was referred to Megadeth by a good friend of mine, journalist Bob Nalbandian.
I was called in to audition for Ozzy quite some time before that, while I was still in Cacophony, the audition went fine, but I didn't get the gig(obviously). Zakk got it quite some time later. I think it worked out well for both of us.
