You have always been my favorite guitarist, so I figured you could tell me this, i'd say im a pretty good guitarist so what would be your advice on getting my band heard... what do I have to do to get people to hear my music? what do record labels want.

They are looking for artists that pack butts in seats. So play live as much as humanly possible, pay to play if neccesary, and get a reputation for being a great band with a solid following.
