Hey Marty, I bought a gutair from Musicians Friend in 1996. It was a 100 only build Jackson Kelly singnature model. It came in black with all gold hardware including an original Floyd Rose. It also came with a certificate of authenticity matching the serial number stamped in the neck and your signuture on the body of the gutair in gold paint pen. Man I love this gutair, I still play it everyday as my main studio and live gutair, man nothing on the living planet plays like it! I also purchased a limited edition Dave Mustaine King V, limited to 150, with all gold hardware, black, original Floyd Rose, certificate, and Dave's signature on it. They both have MF as the starting serial numbers stamped on the neck. They also feel idenical on the neck. Do you remember these gutairs, and if so, do they both have custom Marty Friedman necks(they are neck thru body). If you could answer my questions I would be most thankful. I love these kick ass axes of mine.
