  Title : Perfect Guitar

  QUESTION:

I am into virtually every style of music there is, and I need a guitar which I can use on stage without having to change guitars too often, as I switch styles very often mid-set. I have spent a couple of years looking for one which suits virtually all the music I play, and have been looking particularly for one with a Floyd Rose style vibrato, as I tend to use the vibrato very often when possible and am looking for one which will stay in tune with heavy use. I am not too keen on the Ibanez vibrato, however, so anything with an original Floyd Rose would be good. My current styles of playing, with my band and within my current solo project, range from classic rock, blues and metal to neo-classical and baroque influenced pieces and jazz. I was wondering what you would suggest to look for, as you have had experience of playing in several bands and solo musical ventures, with many different styles, and have obviously had a great deal of experience in looking for a guitar which suits many different styles. I would have used Ibanez, but I prefer the original Floyd Rose style vibrato. I am also looking for a thru-neck design such as a Jackson Soloist. What would you suggest?
