Marty if you ever answer this question I'll be extremely happy because you are my hero man, nobody can play like you. I mean, your solos can be lightspeed or slow if you choose, but they're amazing.
About the question now...:
Marty I'm 17 and I'm beginning to play the guitar. Is it too late to start? I mean, in your opinion, do you think that I ever have the ability to play reasonably good??? Or I'm just lost and should quit right now?
By the way, when did you start playing the guitar? (I'd say you were born with a guitar, hahaha). Marty I have all your records, with megadeth , cacophony and solo albums. I Love them all. Thanx

It's NEVER too late! I started when I was almost 15. I believe if you stay away from drugs and play guitar a lot, and work hard anyone can play as well as they want to. At any age.
