I own the BV 120 watt head...(the blue skinned one with the orange lit display)...and i just cannot get a nice heavy sound out of it..i have tried cutting the mids all the way down and toggleing with the guitar tone (jackson DXMG w. passive EMGs) but i still cannot get a nice heavy sound...can you please tell me the settings you use when you use your natural distorted sound?
