Just a quick follow-up to my "Rock and Roll Greed" question. Why would a rock star need to buy hookers or blow? Couldn't a rock star just ask a few of his/her fans for some blow? I heard Layne Staley was broke when he died...Don't you think he could have gotten free dope from other addicts by just being a druggie icon?

And Hookers? Why buy sex, when rock stars infamously get as much as they want? From a veneral safety standpoint, isn't some corn-fed suburbanite groupie preferable than your typical Hollywood casting-couch starlet anyway?

Your question makes sense, perhaps too much sense. A lot of people in music do unexplainable illogical things...I guess that's just rock and roll.
