  QUESTION:

Thank you for taking time out to read this...
I play guitar. I think that i am pretty good. I just turned 30. How do i know if i am good enough to play professinaly? Is it too late for me? Where do i get started? If i am good enough, how can i go about getting the money to make a career is music? I am in the military with four kids and a single income. Im sorry if this seems like alot to answer, i have tried to email different people to get some answers but have yet to recieve a reply. I understand if your too busy, you have alot on your plate too. Even if you dont reply thanks for at least reading this.

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

Professional=getting paid for your work, so my best advice to you is find a working band (covers or whatever) and prepare your ass off for the audition then join the band. That is the first step, do the best you can and the rest will take care of itself. Good luck.
