During the time you played on Megadeth how did you manage to play such heavy music and still write a more peaceful kind of music (your solo albums). Also, could you please talk a little bit about this radical musical shift (with shifts in its meaning as well) so other players (including me) can have a north to help them guide themselves?

I like so many kinds of music, as I assume you do too. It's really no problem for me to switch from one sound to another, it's all music to me. Don't limit yourself to what you can already do best, try to do things that are challenging at first, and the more you do it the more well rounded you will be as a musician.
