hi Marty. Got to start off like everyone else and say you're an awesome player. I really enjoy your work on the Megadeth albums ... especially Rust and Countdown. Anyway, my question: You posted a reply to someone else saying to use the BOSS VG-88 to get a heavey rock/metal tone without an amp. How do you rate the BOSS GT-6 to do the same thing? Do you actually configure the patches yourself, or do you leave that to your tech? I'd love to know what preamps you use. Thanks mate! PS. When are you going to tour in Australia?
