Hey Marty! I know you and Jason made a great Duo. My situation is this: There is a dude who plays in the same town as me and he is the baddest guitarists that I personally know. I am pretty good. Even tho he is more technically and musically more knowledged and skilled than I am, we both can play from the heart and soul and come up with some bad ass licks/riffs/songs. We have been friends for a while and both are in seperate but equally talent bands. Well I would love to do a side project with him. I can not stress to you enough how much I know him and I will be awesome together. We will have some bitchin tunes. I just know it! I dont want to take anything away from his band or even take myself away from my band. We only gig 2 times a month max so I know the other few times I can be jamming with him. Any suggestions on how I may be able to share my goals with him and put together what I feel to be the most impressive, beautiful, soulful, rockin duos people will ever see?

Make a demo of you playing something in the vein of what you would like to play together. If he likes it, then you`re in. If not, then you`ve saved yourself a lot of time.
