hi marty, you are an inspiration for me. I've been playing guitar since i was 13, now i am 16. I've been learning by myself, teachers, books, and whatever else i can to learn more. The music is my passion, i live for it, since i was a baby (my mother tolds me things). When i am in school or other places where i don't have a guitar, i concentrate and visualize the guitar in my mind, i move my fingers and play as if i had a guitar, many people think i am crazy, i know i am not. I just want to play guitar all day, and play my music, i practice playing and exploring different kinds of music. I have been evolving as a musician, i've played hendrix, satriani, becker, wes. My goal is to create my own style, and not to play what someone else is playing.
Am i crazy for staring at a window or at the floor and concentrating in playing guitar in my mind, while moving my fingers. I love to take a sheet of music to school and read it in my mind, then go home and play it all memorized. I also compose, i love to do orchestrated works, with counterpoint, i usually compose for violins, cellos, violas, piano, i love classical music. I haven't studied a lot of music composition, but i know some things, i like to use my perception, "6th sense"?. Almost everyday i hear a full orchestra playing music in my mind, and i like to write it down, getting cool ideas.
So, after getting to know me, am i sort o f crazy, does this happen to u?
P.S.: i am sure one day i will meet u, and definitely jam with u.
Beautiful music
