Hi Marty, I'm a little confused. Sometimes you say that you don't use any external distorsion at all, just turn the gain at maximal level, and other times you tell us about the distorsion effects you use. Do you use or not a distorsion pedal? By the way, listening carefully to all of your records, my impression is that you achieved your best guitar sound by the time you recorded Scenes. Your sound now is good and has more variety but it doesn`t have that unique feature it used to. I think you were using a Jackson by that time but I don't know and don't think that's necesarily the reason.
