And why should you knock them, you used drugs! Dave Mustaine used a shitload of drugs and wrote beautiful high energy music which you obviously liked at one point enough to join his band and garner the most success of your career. Without the Beatles, music would not be the same, they set the stage for Black Sabbath and many early metal bands. It's like your opinions on Jimi Hendrix. There is no sense in rationalizing drug use for making music with me. If you think that drug use helps the creative process, you are a fool. It doesn't matter how creative you are when you are stumbling around like an idiot or lying in a pool of puke.
