At the risk of sounding stupid here, what the hell is phrasing, I've never actually heard the word used before other than by you, so a simple defintion and I would be grateful.

Imagine that a guitar solo or a melody is a spoken 'phrase'. How do you choose your words? Do you choose rough, mean spirited words or sensitive phrases to get your point across? In guitar you must use the full spectrum of phrases to avoid sounding the same all the time.
