  Title : Minimal Distortion Principle

  QUESTION:

In my earlier post you were kind enough to answer my question on loudness v/s overdrive.. I tried it and and viola! not only the clarity improves [and mistakes highlighted ha ha ] but a lot of other subtle nuances of my[yours?] set up emerges.. its like getting into the guitar and gear newly.. thanks for that piece of valuable advice.. MFS kicks Ass... some of my theories about certain guitarists can only create their typical sounds was blow into the sky.. I mean see.. Fuel Injection .. [I LOVE that one] has Satch.. and very strong strong intonations of Brian May on Lust for Life... BTW I think you generally have very little distortion most of the time, right?[except MFS with its nu-metal style stuff- good, but easy to get today]. I now use very sparing distortion and some of my home recordings [on a 2-track tape!!] sounded real neat....Thanks. How radically will it change in a studio set-up?
