Thanls for taking the time. I know tons of people who wonder what your reason was for switching from Carvin guitars back to Jackson. What did or didn't you particularly like about the Carvin V220? The same reason I eventually switched from Jackson to Ibanez. The guitar suited the music I was doing. Carvin was great for Cacophony cuz that was mostly lead work. Jackson is the ultimate 'heavy metal guitar' so it was perfect for Megadeth. Now I am playing music that goes from truly intense dark metal to ballads to techno/rock all within the same set list, so I need a guitar that can cover all the bases properly which is definitely Ibanez.
