I wrote most of the piece on guitar. Since I can't read or write music, I entered it into my computer via midi to get the sheet music for it. As I was doing that, I enjoyed the sound of the midi piano that I was using to enter the music. With the midi data already recorded, I added an acoustic guitar sound along with a violin sound. I liked the blend of sound that came out much more than just me playing it by myself. Plus midi is much cleaner and tighter than my loose playing. There you have it! |
