Hi Marty I need some advice on tubes, I play a crate BV120, (awesome amp),I am looking for a versatile tube, one that lets me play bluesy stuff but also the tight crunchy chugging for metal I have read some good things about Cryo Tubes (tubes treated in a bath of liquid nitrogen for 36 hrs (as you probably know) the other thing someone advised me was to change over to EL34's from 6L6's any suggestions? any advice on pre amp tubes, I dont mind exparamenting with different pre amp tubes but it's too expensive to do that with the power tubes.thanks alot.
