hey man, i was just listening to bryan adams old record... and the guitar player's damn cool. he's melodic and real good. what da ya think of him? i think guitar players these days should concentrate more on melodic stuff rather than just concentrate on speed/sweep picks/circus act/pokemon scale/"i can play 500 notes in 5 seconds"/"i dont like blues playing, better to play jazz and neoclassical" bullcrap.
anyways, i like your new album. and the way you approach guitar playing today. you didnt forget MELODY. (i dont like the techno stuff though). just wishing you the best marty. hope you release another kickass album next time, but pls man...no techno stuff...just guitars, drums and bass...ya know as ozzy would say "rock n roll !!!"
another thing, what da ya think of the band "the darkness"? for me they're great! traditional rock n roll |

You nailed it about Keith Scott from Bryan Adams band. He is probably the best example of someone who plays the 'perfect' notes that I can think of.
The Darkness is very cool, I dig it. The vocals get a little silly for me, but overall I think the record feels great.
