Hey Marty, I'm always amazed at how how modest you are about your guitar playing. And whenever people ask your opinion on other guitarists, you say they're very talented. You completely put guys like Kirk Hammet to shame, yet you never admit that you are way better. Are there any guitarists that you just openly think suck?

A few people have asked about your Dragon's Kiss tone. I used a Boss Super Overdrive, and I didn't think it sounded like that tone at all. Maybe it's an EQ thing... Or pickups...It just didn't seem to have the balls that your tone did. What's the secret?

PS: I read the "Zionist or Jew" question in the FAQ. Was that guy on crack or what? :-)

A) Nobody who's making a living playing music 'sucks'. Obviously enough people enjoy their music enough to put food on the table. Don't waste your energy 'hating' musicians! Just listen to someone else! That said, I'm not the biggest fan of Celine Dion...

There is no eq secret to 'balls' in one's tone. The 'balls' are in the way the guitar is played. I (and many other guys) could probably play any gear and it would sound pretty much the same.
