hy marty...
i'm from argentina.... i went to your guitar clinic and it was great.....
i really like the other guitar players, daniel tellis and anel paz......
and your work was incredible....
but i have one question...
here in argentina, we usually say hello or goodbye or thanks with a kiss....
and after i see your face when some people want to say hello and kiss you you put a terrible face..... like if some gay want to touch you or fuck you....hehehe....
really.... i dont know what was your feelings in those moments....
maybe in usa you just shake hands???..
was it a bad moment for you when the people in the theater was trying to salute you with a kiss????
to me was pretty hilarious to see you with your leopard shirt and your big shoes and try to make a distance with the guys that want to salute you....
but listen....dont get me wrong.... i'm not trying to say anything wrong for your attitude.... i'm just curious....
pd: i love your chuck berry song....
and the interpretation of your newest songs... the fucking rule!!!!! every time i listen to your new album i discover new things.....
good luck and i hope to see you again
thanks and happy new year!!!!!!!!!

HI Matias, and thanx for the GREAT letter! It really made me laugh!! I know about the different greeting customs in different countries around the world, and I try my best to go along with the customs wherever I go. I hope I didn't insult any of my great fans in B.A., and I certainly didn't intend to make a 'terrible face'! I guess it just came naturally that way-it takes a little getting used to when guys come charging at me for a kiss!
Like I said that day, "Donde es la chicas?!"
PS what Chuck Berry song?? |
