Mr Friedman, this is my second attempt at a question. Hopefully this one will find its way to you. I've followed your career since I began playing in 1988, at the age of 12. I'm now a guitar instructor.. largely due to your influence, so thank you! Anyway, I remember purchasing the Carvin X220 when I saw you with one on the cover of the "Go Off" album. I LOVE IT! Then, as happy as I was that you joined Megadeth (another personal fav), I was CRUSHED when I suddenly saw you with ONLY a Jackson Kelly.... so then I bought one of those :) Also very cool... Yada Yada Yada.... I just bought an SZ about a month ago. It FEELS great.. but I'm not overly impressed with the pickups.

My question: All BS aside, no endorsements, etc..... which is YOUR favorite? Sitting at home, alone, no one watching.... which guitar are you playing? Why??

I gotta be honest... I'll never be seen with it in public, but I still choose the X220.

What BS? I very rarely play at home, but right now I have an Ibanez RG and an SZ at home. While I'm flattered that you take it so personally when I change guitars, you must remember that they are just tools, lifeless pieces of wood. And rather than assigning so much sentemental value on them, how about devoting that energy to creating music? Thanks for the question.
