Don't worry! You can't please everybody in the world. If you truly did the best you can, and didn't mess up by using drugs or being lazy, what else can you do? You can't control other people and their responses. You can only control yourself and how hard you work on something. If you are satisfied with your work and performance, that is really all you need. If there are things you know you could do better, work on them. Don't be depressed.
