  Title : Unlucky Musicians

  QUESTION:

Hi, I live in Pakistan, and I have a metal band of 5 experienced really good musicians.
we work hard, we play well live (even though our equipment aint top notch)
and we write good songs.
its just our luck to be stuck in a dead beat country like Pakistan where metal is very unappreciated, what do you have to say to that?
I mean, weve considered the idea of taking our act over to LA, but the risk is too high, and we need to finish our education, as were still in college.
I was just wondering what you have to say to that....what would you do?

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

Just where is 'metal' appreciated?
Succeding in music as all about sacrifices. Big sacrifices. There is no easy way for anyone, from any country. You can never go wrong with a good education. I wish you the best.
