QUESTION: |

I wonder why you never come to Eastern Europe. We had Maiden, Dream Theater and Metallica but we've never
had MegadetH. We had Steve Vai, Al Di Meola... but I guess you haven't even heard of Romania or Bucharest. Maybe I should go to
Lima or Hong Kong to see a show. Anyway... I'm not going to ask you to come to our country 'cause I believe you can't choose
that even if you wanted. If Ibanez says Lima... Lima it is. I know many people who love your music here, but I guess we'll just
have to listen to your records (by the way... I've never seen an original record of yours ha, ha... not in this fuckin' country).
But maybe it's better this way, because even you sold 0$ records in Romania and your manager won't send you here, I wonder how
much would be a ticket on a show in Bucharest.... probably half a medium salary.
I heard you love Stravinsky; is it true ?
what's your classic fav ? |

MARTY'S ANSWER: |

That is the sad thing about trying to play for everybody in the world; it just is phsyically
impossible. I am so thankful to have fans in Bucharest, but until it is financially viable to pay all the staff and people involved
in putting on a proper show there, we all will just have to wait, unfortunately. The closest I got to there was Bratislava and
Budapest on the Megadeth/Metallica tour. That tour is a very special one for me, and for the fans too, I suspect. |
