  Title : Farewell to Manzanar

  QUESTION:

Hi Marty,

Reading Russ' question last night and laying around thinking this morning, I wondered something. I live a few miles north of what was the Japanese American internment camp Manzanar. How familar are you with that part of history, and have you read the book Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston about her experiences in that camp?

Thanks and keep on rockin',
Annaleigh

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

What little I know about that is from the great movie, "Come See The Paradise". It was a very emotional movie and had fabulous music by Randy Edelman. I recommend it highly. Other than that, I don't know too much about history.
