Hi Marty, I just got Music for Speeding - wow! I love you man. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years, but my ear isn't good enough to hear your EQ. Slayer is known for boosted mids and old Metallica for cutting mids...What kinda of EQ + reverb settings are you using these days? In Gimme a Dose 32 seconds into the song, the lead guitar comes in and has a really cool tone. I'd heard a similar tone on Dragon's Kiss, but Never with Megadeth. How did you get that tone? My second question is about the original KE-1 and Dave's KV-1. You both went with Kahler non-trem bridges. Why did you want the Kahler on your Signature Jackson (i don't know if you can speak for Dave too)? It'd mean alot if you answered this on the Gear section. Peace.
