Hi Marty, i'm as
you a fan of j-music especially Nanase Aikawa , Ayu , Hikaru Utada, and more rockin' stuff like X Japan (i know you're a fan of
Yoshiki what about the rest of the band Toshi, hide, Pata Taiji??) Siam Shade and Dir en Grey anyway...
You've been
touring with Nanase-san and you had the chance to play with one of the best drummers IMHO in the world, Shinya (ex-Luna Sea) so
what do you think about so high-quality musicians like him and others guys in Japan that are not well known in the rest of the
world and why only western musicians are recognized by their talents???
and also what are the odds of you touring with
Nanase-san again????
Thank you very much Marty I hope I get to see you in Japan |

Thanks for the mail. I'm still in
Nanase's band, although I have never played with Shinya. When I joined Nishida Ryu was and still is the drummer. He is well known
in Japan, and his playing is just amazing and powerful. His playing feels like the playing of Nick Menza-you just feel this surge
of power behind you that makes it so easy to play. |
