Did you see the Rolling Stone magazine's "Top 100 Guitarists Of All Time" list? If so, how many minutes was it before you picked up your jaw?
Could you believe that guys like Kurt Cobain, the White Stripes guy and Kirk Hammet were placed about guys like, well Hammet's techer, Joe Satriani and his other student Steve Vai, both of whom weren't even on the list. I mean, Hammet is good but Satriani and Vai made much greater impacts on guitar players. Hammet spent the first 10 years of his career playing mediocre thrash solos. His solo's now arent even good. Cobain was a good songwriter, and The white stripes guy i dont even know what to say
