  Title : Age limits?

  QUESTION:

Hey Marty!
What do you think about having age limits on shows? Yesterday, you played a show at Canes in San Diego which I was unable to attend because it was a 21 and over show (I'm 19). I am pretty sure that it is because at these shows more people drink and it is more profitable for the venue, but where the fuck does that leave the performer? Would you rather have an age limit on your shows or have it be all ages? Although I can guess the answer to your question, I would like to hear some comments you have on the subject. By the way, I REALLY wanted to go, I called that place like every hour to try to see if they would make an exception. Fuckers...
Anyways, keep up the good work man, and one more word about some of the things you say; I think its awesome how positive you are about other bands and artists, especially Metallica. They kick ass. You kick ass.
Rock on!

Ian

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

I think it sucks! Unfortunately it is up to my agent and the promoters doing the shows. I went to tons of great shows before I was 21 and you should be able to as well. Sorry...
