Heil,i have a problem.Im 17 and i have played guitar about 3 or 4 years.I can play very good and know many tehniques[like sweeppicking,handtapping(image),harmonic screams,tremolo picking,etc.] and i can play fast.Its just like i finally did it ,i can feel the guitar and know how to play!I even gived a concert! But into me came a feeling-I dont want to be a guitarist ,this sucks!First its this damn MONEY-i have only guitar,but dont have equipment(even distortion isnt really mine).Then about after 2 years i have to go to the army(no guitar there).And now my band drummer is going away from us to study and get smart.And really,the bassist and singer arent better,like im class my own-its not easy to find good members.
But i love to take guitar in my hand and hit some sweeps or just jam with my brother.I have worked (VERY)hard,played like 12 hours in a day-and now,i feel fucked up.Should i throw guitar in a corner and yell"You bastard waste of time" or smt...?
Or should i practice more and start to finding a new band?
